A noncredit class is being offered this Sept on beer tasting, taught by Rob Miller - Here's the info:

This class will explore how beer has an amazing history that's wrapped in culture and embraced by people who are passionate about brewing and supporting it. Learn the basics of evaluating beer by appearance, how it smells and tastes with an expanded beer vocabulary. Learn about different beer styles that describes it overall character and often time stamps its origin. This will aid in training your palate to appreciate their unique differences as you discover the world of beer. Each class will consist of a brief lecture followed by a tasting of different beers from around the glove. You must be at least 21 years of age to enroll.

  • Class Length: 4 weeks, Wednesdays, September 3-September 24
  • Time: 7-9 p.m.
  • Instructor: Rob Miller
  • Fee: $85 per person
  • Location: Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 29th St. at Oliver
  • Class Maximum: 40 participants

I get back into town the evening of the third class; I might have to crash Professor Miller's presentation. :lol:
