Annual Club Competitions

These are internal competitions for club members that run through the year, starting in July.

2025-2026 Homebrewer of the Year (HotY) Competition Schedule

July - Fan Favorite
August - Winner’s Choice (Pairs Brew*)
October - English Bitters**
December - Fan Favorite
January - Lagers
March - Winner’s Choice (TBD)
April - Shaven Yak Clone
May - Fan Favorite

* This will be a fan favorite style judging. Pairs to make one wort then split and ferment separately. Goal is to make the best two beers that are also the most different. Points will be given to 1st - 3rd place. 1st place - each brewer receives 4 points. 2nd place - 2.5 pts. 3rd place 1 point.

** Will be BJCP styling judging. BJCP categories 11A, 11B, 11C
